I thought I'd share some of the projects I've worked on over the last few years.

Elfab

http://www.elfab.com/

The idea of multi-language content seems to be cropping up more and more these days. That'll be the World Wide Web then.

As part of our rebranding project for Elfab (and their sister company Oseco), we needed to build a multi-language, multi-domain, search-engine-optimised CMS platform – one that could handle non-latin character sets such as Russian and Chinese. So I got to learn a lot about UTF-8, how to content-manage it, and how PHP has a problem with the Russian 'P' glyph.

The whole team worked on this one - I produced and got my hands dirty where necessary.

Elf Drive

http://www.elfdrive.co.uk

You've gotta love Christmas games. Especially highly competitive ones.

Created as The Roundhouse's Christmas card, Elf Drive invited players to take to the icy lake and round up rogue elves.

Fiendishly difficult, the game's engine (built by Dan N) requires skill and practice to beat. Watch out for snowballs.

Hardy & Greys

http://www.hardyfishing.com/

Hardy & Greys have been manufacturing fishing equipment since 1872. This was one of the biggest projects I've worked on - nine sites, each with three different languages, all driven by our CMS, Fin.

I was involved from the initial pitch onwards; I put together and presented our proposed creative & technical solutions, and then acted as producer during the project.

Fighters Only

http://www.fightersonlymagazine.co.uk

Fighters Only is the UK's biggest MMA magazine. We were asked to design and build their website - complete with heavy-metal interface, video streaming, multimedia content and online shop.

It's not often that you get to roll out the bevels, drop-shadows, grunge effects and gradients with so little mercy.
